Leslie - Salon Coordinator
I was blessed to have found my passion in life at a young age. As a child I would cut my sister’s hair, friend’s hair and style and do up dos for prom/ It was then that I decided that I wanted a career in the hair industry, however, at that point I never realized that a wonderful and fulfilling life it would lead to.
I started my education as Texas Career Institute and graduated in 1996, three months ahead of schedule. For the first few years of y career, I continued my education attending every class I could find. This eventually led me to Goldwell where I became a Goldwell Color Specialist. That was over 12 years ago and I have used their products ever since.
In 1999, I began to work for, and train under, Andrew Guerra of San Antonio, a creative artist for Farouk Systems. Shortly thereafter, I attended AMCET training to become an educator with Farouk. I then assisted Andrew on stage at numerous Armstrong McCall hair shows.
In 2007, I came to work at Cyndi’s Salon and Spa. I was soon introduced to Phomulate and eventually trained and became a Phomulate color specialist and educator. I traveled with Phomulate performing and instructing in their hair shows and spent time teaching product knowledge in numerous locations in and around San Antonio.
In 2009, Cyndi’s Salon and Spa was chosen to be on the television show “Split Ends”. I was chosen to be sent off to London, England to show my stuff to the British. It was a great experience during which I learned a great deal.
Overall, I have had 14 years of experience helping people look and feel their best. I love getting to know my clients and seeing the transformation that occurs while they sit in my chair. No matter how bad the day may have been, it is great to see them smile when they look into the mirror once I am finished. God has blessed me with a talent and I use it every day in an attempt to bring a little bit of happiness into my client’s lives.
